When we arrived at Tikal (Mayan ruins) we rushed to catch the sunset. We kind of got lost along the way, but that added to the excitement!

The ancient Maya tree.. it is said to stretch up to the heavens and go down to the underworld.

Supposedly this temple is in the first ever Star Wars movie.. i have never seen it, but now I'm tempted to watch it just to find out!
Katie had to sit on my suitcase every morning so I could shut it...
