Rio, Ready, Roasting

Sorry for the delay in posting! Life feels a bit hectic lately!

We landed in Rio after far too much traveling and being on land was a welcome sight, especially after being sick in the plane.. I've never thrown up on an airplane so this was a first, and hopefully a last! But the plane backs all had screens on them and you could play trivia with all the other passengers which was super fun! hehe.. Pretty much I played for eight hours straight and would get them right near the end when the repeat questions came along.. then I looked smart to the other passengers at least!

Rio's beaches and panoramic views are absolutely stunning. Very cool city and lots of interesting culture and interesting bathing suits on the beaches...

It was also very HOT! One day it was 40 degrees plus about 95% humidity. They said it was one of the hottest days Rio has had in forty years. And we were blessed enough to enjoy it.

Here we are at the top of Corcodova (okay i think i spelled that wrong) Mountain where they have the Jesus the Redeemer Statue. The view from the top is simply amazing, as you can see all around and all the incredible beaches!

That's all for now!! Next up: Iguazu Falls in Argentina!
