Engaged, Excited, Elated

Today, friends and family will gather at my mom's place to have a party. I love the celebration aspect of parties. Celebration of life and love and God's grace and goodness in our lives.

And what are we celebrating today? My brother's engaged!!!


Lucas and Colleen got engaged right before we left for our trip to Asia and I'm so excited for them!! I have loved getting to know Colleen and am excited to have another sister-in-law! I was blessed to be able to spend time with both of them for a few days earlier this year in Florida and am excited for more memories and fun together!


So Congrats to Lucas and Colleen!! Can't wait for your big day and so excited to celebrate with you!!

Tonight, we had a mini graduation celebration. My good friends, Jocelyn and Kristen both graduated this last April and so I got them a cake of congratulations. And then we ate it in the pool. Mmmm.. best place to eat cake. At night while watching stars!

Today was a full day with a variety of different things. Some new things, some slight changes but a great time of revisioning and being renewed and excited about some of the things happening.

Dancing, Duo, Delightful

Every morning, once I get out of bed, I got to my kitchen, turn on my music and have a wild dance party to my favorite song at the time. I skip around and go in and out of the kitchen through both doors. It is simply delightful to just dance and let go. This evening, thankfully I had someone to join me in my dance party. We had a delightfully wonderful time.

Murder, Mystery, Men

It was Karen's birthday, so we decided to throw her a suprise party that was also a murder mystery! Okay, half the people there hadn't met her before, but we still figured it was lots of fun and the main essence of it was for the surprise anyway and that was successfully achieved.

Work, Water, Wain

During the summer, we have different things at work for rewarding our hard work. So we had a pool party and dinner at my mom's place. It was fun to hang out as a big group outside of work. We played some great games and had fun swimming with the underwater camera (not always the most flattering pictures, but very fun!)

It's been great to get to know a whole new group of people at work. I am blessed with many new friendships and am thankful for these people in my life! :)
